http://localhost/dnn510/DesktopModules/FlashImageRotator/Flash/ImageList.xml

This makes the module impossible to work with different configurations. I mean you cannot have two modules displaying diferent lists of files since they both use the same list.

I suggest to move this list to a custom file (entered by user or using the moduleid of the module) for each module instance and to save the image list on the current portal directory under /portals.

Two issues:

The shuffle property does not work in my installation - is this a bug?

It would be truely great to be able to point the module to a directory of files and have it randomly play all files in that directory. Possible?

Great work though and thanks.

My installation is DNN 5.1.1. - is this the issue?

New Post: Error when saving options

When editing the ImageRotator Options - and saving the changes an error occurres:

first of all: the ImageRotator is a pretty cool module. I've been looking for a similar solution for a long time, so thanks for that :-)
But on integrating it on a DNN-Installation, I ran into a problem. Here's the point: The portal runs on a centered fixed width of about 1000 pixels.
Now I want to put the Rotator in the Top Pane and fill it with banners of a slightly smaller width, so they cover nearly the complete width of the site.
So I've set the width of the "flash monitor" inside the module to 900 pixels. In Firefox it works pretty fine and it leaves my overall width intact.
But with the IE, it goes wrong because the container stretches way over my fixed width and the other panes align to that. That also applies when disabling the visibility for the container.
This looks like an exciting module... And it works great... if I don't edit any of the settings for this module. But as soon as I edit the module and choose update it stops working and all I get is a circular icon spinning around. Actually I don't need to change anything, if I put the module on the content pane, and choose edit edit image rotator option and just choose update without changing anything it behaves the same way. I did find if I update the underlying xml file I can put my own images out in it, again as long as I don't try to update it, any way thru the interface it works fine.
